Monday, Monday

Hello Peeps!

It’s dreaded Monday againnn, but I find if you try not to think about it that much then it’s not as bad as it seems. Anyways it was a little busy and stressful this weekend. Our mom was sick in the hospital with a stomach ulcer. Thank goodness, that was all that was wrong and she got to come home last night. Therefore, you have to count your blessings. While we helped her, we did manage to create and ship off some orders.  I really wanted to see the new movie out called The Purge but didn’t get a chance to yet. I did go downtown Saturday night with a few friends to enjoy some music and drinks. So that was a nice little stress reliever.

This week we will be on the grind creating new pieces and working on promoting and advertising. The trouble we’ve found with our online shop is that its hard to get constant traffic coming to your page and thus generating more sales. We have a couple of ideas in mind though so stay tuned for that. Father’s day is coming did you finish shopping….or start?( lol) Well if not hurry in to our shop and check out our “Man Candy “Section. We have many chic and sophisticated styles for dad or hubby. Here are a few examples. If you get your order in today or tomorrow your item should arrive before Father’s Day this weekend so don’t miss out!

Hope everyone enjoys their week ♥

Trudging Through Thursday

Happy Thursday!  The best thing about Thursdays is that tomorrow is Friday!

We made it through the short week so that’s good. This past weekend we enjoyed some really nice weather here. My sister and I and a couple of friends went out on Saturday night to a Night Club downtown. It was a good time as always. Here’s an “over the head” pose we took that night.  And a photo from the nightclub.

Definitely had to end the night right with none other than Waffle House! Yummmm

We had a great sale going on this past weekend too. Hopefully you took advantage of it =) We definitely were busy Tuesday night packing up orders.
Here's a picture of One of our happy customers from her instagram

Great weather, fun, sales and plenty of relaxation made this long weekend very nice.   This week we’ve been doing a lot of running around with work and errands but we’ve managed to create a few stunning pieces and added them online. So stop by and check them out while they last. =)

Also I wanted to mention that I purchased the pretties locket necklace from a friend of mine that is a sales representative for Origami Owl. This jewelry line is really awesome because you get to create lockets filled with charms of your choice. And trust me they have tons to choose from. Here’s mine that I made with charms to represent my daughter. Love it. Stop by her page today and take a look.

Prayers for Sandy Hook Elementary

We just wanted to take a few words to mention the unbelivably heartbreaking tragedy that occurred this past Friday 12/14/2012. My sister and I live in GA but we were born and raised in CT and this really struck close to home. Our heart just shatters at the thought of all the innocent lives that were taken and it just leaves us in complete disbelief.  It is sickening to think about something like that happened in our society but we are hearing crazier and crazier stories every few months it seems. In times like this the most important thing to do is keep your faith and love one another. Tomorrow is never promised and we all need to appreciate the people we have in our lives every single day. Our thoughts and prayers are with these families and the town of Newtown. In a few days we will be making bracelets in memorial of this tragedy. All proceeds will be donated to the Sandy Hook Elementary PTA. Stay tune for that and show your support to the victims and their loved ones <3
